New World is a big game with very complex game mechanics, so we've seen many players struggling in the game. So in this article, we bring some things we wish players knew before starting. So, let's dig into each topic now!
Finding Resources
There are a ton of resources to gather in New World. For most, and locating the materials needed to craft some items is arguably the most important step. Because the landscape in New World is so huge, finding certain resources can be a bit of a hassle. Thankfully, there is a way to "track" what players are looking for. In fact, all that players need to do is get enough proficiency in a specific "gathering discipline" to Unlock Resource Tracking. That means mining enough ore, gathering enough herbs, chopping down enough trees, or hunting enough animals. The more players do these things, the more they'll be able to track. In addition, some rare resources can be sold at trade posts to help players earn a lot of new world coins.
Picking A Faction
There are three factions in New World, and each has its own motivations, story, missions, and even specific gear tied to each one. The Marauders are proud warriors who fight with honor and for glory and self-improvement. The Syndicate is clever disciples who fight with cunning for the sake of truth and progress. The Covenant are divine champions who fight with a conviction for righteousness and justice. Your day-to-day activities won't change that much regardless of which faction you pick, but you will gain access to a specific faction shop, as well as other membership benefits. Joining any faction also has a special set of bonuses, such as discounts on items in territories you control and cheaper fast travel
Fastest Leveling Up
Leveling up in any MMO is rather a long and daunting task that requires you to grind for dozens if not hundreds of hours to reach the level cap. Fortunately, in New World, you can employ some tricks to speed up the leveling process, such as Rested XP, Faction Missions, Town Projects and Main Quests, etc. All in all, these best ways to help you minimize downtime and increase efficiency to level up fast in New World.
Leveling Trade Skills
Trade Skills are non-combat skills in New World — just about any activity your character takes part in that isn't tied to their weapons is linked to a Trade Skill. There are 17 of these skills in all, separated into three sub-categories: Gathering, Refining, and Crafting. Every New World Trade Skill goes up to Level 200, meaning you'll be leveling up pretty frequently. To level up a Trade Skill in New World, you simply need to use that skill over time. In New World as in life, practice makes perfect, and since there are no evening classes to attend on Aeternum, you just need to roll up your puffy renaissance sleeves and get started.
Best Weapons Combo
There are no classes in New World and no restrictions for what weapons and gear players can equip, giving adventurers in Aeternum a myriad of interesting choices. Characters can carry any two weapons at a time, so naturally, there's a lot of debate among players on which combinations are the best. These weapons can either be crafted by players, given as quest rewards, dropped by slain foes, or use new world gold coins to buy.
Get More Azoth
Azoth is a very important resource in New World that serves as currency. You can use it to fast travel, craft powerful gear, respec your weapon's Mastery tree, and much more. The quickest way to get more Azoth is by completing the main quests. You can also craft Iron tools to unlock the Azoth Extraction perk and occasionally collect Azoth dropped by enemies that are level 20 or higher.
EWe hope these tips and tricks will help better your gaming experience in Amazon's New World and give you an extra advantage over other players. Have fun and happy gaming!
